RELAXING WEEKEND

With not a cloud in the sky and the opportunity to visit a few Nature Reserves I decided to have a walk along Sandwich Bay and Pegwell Bay Nature Reserve.
Not much in the way of Birds but first on the list was a Wheatear male near the Golf Course followed by Shelducks,Skylark,Reed Bunting,Curlew,Redshank and Kestrel.

My son found a Common Lizard under a piece of wood further along the walk which pleased him.

As well as the walks I also decided to have another go with the Moth Trap ! Yes I am falling deeper and deeper into the Sandals and Beard group of people called Anoraks ! But it is very addictive and to be honest very enjoyable.

Final walk today produced very little in the Sandwich area but my last picture was taken in the Town of a Orange Tip Butterfly hanging off a flower in a hanging basket.
